Seeking Web Consultants

Satdaya Studios is booming! We need experienced web developers to manage client accounts as an Account Executive. This position is ideal for those looking to reduce development work and enter a managerial position with room for advancement. The primary job responsibility will be helping clients and customers visualize then fulfill their website goals, from design to marketing. Then, with the vision in hand, direct other staff and contractors to deliver the product.

This is a telecommute (work from home or own office) position.

Account Executives will be assigned with client accounts that fit their background and communication preferences (for example, an entertainment related client would be assigned to an account executive who has worked in the entertainment industry). Duties include some or all of the following, depending on experience and skill:

Job Duties:

Acquire new accounts & develop business relationships:

• Seek out purchasing decision makers and develop business relationships
• Target specific industries and client demographics as assigned
• Engage in regular (daily / weekly / monthly) sales activity
• Perform client intake and lead qualification
• Develop project proposals
• Assist with marketing and advertising campaigns as needed

Manage client and project accounts:

• Manage client accounts as assigned
• Responsible for maintaining communications and client satisfaction
• Meet with clients to provide consulting, request approval for tasks / budget, review work completed with client, and gather change requests
• Perform documentation; project information, client communication logs, change requests, etc

Coordinate and/or perform work orders, change requests, consulting

• Gather specifications for change requests where needed, performing Q&A with client
• Work with the IT Coordinator and contractors to coordinate project work and change requests
• Review all work before sharing with the client, check quality and ensure all specs are satisfied
• Occasionally, perform website updates for simple, time sensitive tasks, usually while in meeting with clients
• Design or sketch quick mock-ups, working closely with client to capture their vision

Maintain training, skills and knowledge with:

• Web Development industry news, standards, policies, and recent developments
• Software skills required to perform the job
• Company tools, policies and procedures (training provided by company)
• Sales and client management practices
• Other skills as utilized on the job

Requirements

Must be experienced in most aspects of web development and internet marketing, both low and high budget projects. Track record of clients saying "You rock!" or "You're the best!" even on projects that didn't go very well.

Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and/or fluency in ASL a plus.

Compensation

This is an independent contract position with potential to become an associate - click here to learn more about what it means to become an associate. Associate compensation is based on a revenue sharing and commission system.

If hired, you will be compensated at your hourly rate for a limited number of hours per month, and you will be responsible for withholding and taxes.

NOTE that we typically start out by assigning a few accounts to each new contractor. If all goes well, we will assign more accounts, and so on, until you are invited to join Satdaya LLC as an associate.
