Satdaya Studios is booming! We need experienced web developers to manage client accounts as an Account Executive. This position is ideal for those looking to reduce development work and enter a managerial position with room for advancement. The primary job responsibility will be helping clients and customers visualize then fulfill their website goals, from design to marketing. Then, with the vision in hand, direct other staff and contractors to deliver the product.
This is a telecommute (work from home or own office) position.
Account Executives will be assigned with client accounts that fit their background and communication preferences (for example, an entertainment related client would be assigned to an account executive who has worked in the entertainment industry). Duties include some or all of the following, depending on experience and skill:
Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and/or fluency in ASL a plus.
As independent contractors, you will need to set your hourly rate and submit that information along with a resume, portfolio and a minimum of 3 references. Email the information to jobs@satdaya.com. If hired, you will be compensated at your hourly rate for a limited number of hours per month, and you will be responsible for withholding and taxes.
If you do not know what rate to charge, do your research - check job boards out there and find jobs that match your qualifications / experience level and average the compensation. You may calculate an hourly rate from an annual salary using this formula: (Annual Salary / 52) / 40 = hourly rate. Another great, easy resource is www.salary.com.
NOTE that we typically start out by assigning a few accounts to each new contractor. If all goes well, we will assign more accounts, and so on, until you are invited to join Satdaya LLC as an associate.
